I decided to try the Samsung 40 inch LED HDTV capable of 3D after watching a number of different sets from a number of different manufacturers. I specifically avoided the Plasma type TVs due to the large amount of Radio Frequency Interference that they generate. The Samsung TV has a beautiful bright Clear color picture and meets all of my expectations!! On black and white shows, the picture is almost too good as it is very crisp! On 3D movies, using the required 3D glasses, the picture is just plain astounding!!!!! It feels like you are in the middle of the action. For the price, the 40 inch Samsung is highly recommended as a BEST BUY by me!!! If you want to watch 3D blu-ray movies, you must purchase the 3D specific Blu-Ray player from Samsung, as well as the Samsung 3D glasses. Not inexpensive,but well worth the money!! I LOVE Mine!

Braunstein (Atlanta, GA):I had been admiring the new Samsung LED TVs for some time and, when the old TV in our bedroom got struck by lightening, I took advantage of Amazon's great bundle deal and bought this 40" 3D set along with the 36 Blueray DVD player and two pairs of 3D glasses. The TV is pretty much everything I would expect from Samsung. Great styling, amazingly thin and light and a first class picture. I can't comment on the 3D picture because I haven't tried it yet (there isn't much 3D programming around at this point but it's nice to be "future proof"). I would have given it five stars but one of the TVs key features -- Samsung's Internet TV -- is clunky at best and web streaming of movies from Netflix does NOT work at all. After hours on the phone to Samsung and Netflix support I finally got everyone to agree that the Netflix feature just doesn't work with these TVs. Supposedly a software upgrade is in the works but no one would even give me an estimated date.

hello "hi" (nj, usa):THIS IS AN EXTREMELY GOOD TV WITH NICE COLOR AND CONTRAST. THE 2D TO 3D CONVERSION ISN'T THAT GREAT BUT REGULAR 3D CONTENT SUCH AS ESPN3D AND 3D BLU RAYS HAVE OUTSTANDING 3D EFFECTS. THE ONLY PROBLEM I FIND WITH THIS TV IS THAT IF THE BACKLIGHT IS SET TOO BRIGHT, YOU GET THE FLASHLIGHT EFFECT IN THE 4 CORNERS AND A BIT OF CLOUDING. BUT IF YOU BRING THE BRIGHTNESS DOWN WHICH HELPS THE PICTURE CONTRAST IT'S NOT THAT BAD. OVERALL I THOUGHT THIS TV WAS A GREAT BUY.

 Jolly G. Giant "texaspumpkinhead" (Austin, TX USA):I have only watched it tonight, but so far everything looks great. I could definitely see some of the things that people have questioned on this thread, but the settings change took care of anything I could find with it, but then again I am not a super videophile...I know just enough to be dangerous.

One thing I noticed while messing with the settings is that they definitely make a big difference in getting to an ultimate image on this LCD. Furthermore, this model appears to be very flexible, and as such most of the non catrostophic issues I am hearing about on different forums can be cleared up if you are using the correct settings. The settings that I am using are below in case you care. The most important one of the lot was the HDMI Black=Low.

 K. McNutt (Minnetonka, MN United States) :We've had our 5265 for a few days now, and I've had some time to adjust and tweak the settings to where color, brightness and black details are pretty good. That's kind of an understatement as there is a big WOW factor when it's all set up well. A very important factor with a tv this large is the quality of the signal being fed to it. If your provider uses heavy compression on the signal being fet to you, you're going to see macro-blocking artifacts and other such noise. Our tv is plugged into cable directly out of the wall, and the built-in tuner takes care of the rest. HD from NBC and others is very cool. We watch DVDs on an upscaling Sony with HDMI, and the picture is very enjoyable. HD-DVD or BluRay would be a real treat.

I only have a couple of relatively small issues that keep me from giving it 5 stars. One is that when auto-programming cable channels, the tv would freeze-up and turn itself off whenever it got to channel 108 for some reason. Then, after a moment, it would turn itself back on and repeat as long as it was on 108. There's nothing on 108 for us, so to bypass this, I just unplugged the cable as it reached 108 and plugged it back in after it was past it, and everything works fine. Now, to be honest, I'm not sure it's the fault of the tv or the feed from the cable company, but it didn't happen with our smaller tv.

Gabriel J. Martinez "Gabe Mtz" (Laguna Niguel, CA):I have a very bright room and I am energy concious so a plasma was not a good option for me since they catch a lot of glare and use more power. The picture quality you get out of a plasma in the right setting still is superior to LCD but only in certain instances. The Samsung LCD picture is awesome 90% of the time, where it falls short is in very dark scenes. There is a problem with what I found from other blog sites and reviews (based on the Sony with the same screen) of "light leaking". In very dark scenes the picture is sometimes not totally black you can see what appear to be shadows or pixel movements. Now most people don't even notice it but if you're a perfectionist geek like me it is an annoyance. However, for me the LCD is still the better choice than plasma and I would not change my decision the picture quality is excellent most of the time so it is not a big deal. Of all the LCD's that I have seen this one along with the Sony have the best picture quality hands down. Although, Sharp's new box is getting close. Don't be fooled by low end manufactured products claiming to be as good. Carefully, look at the specs and the picture quality particuarly during fast moving scenes where you may catch bluring.

 Ayer :I got a good deal at my local Best Buy on this 39 inch (38.5 viewable) HDTV, Its really worth the money for the picture quality that Samsung has a reputation for...

Pros:
1) Great Picture and Sound
2) Lots of adjustments for picture and sound
3) Picks up local on air channels and the colors are vivid and crisp
4) HD looks amazing on this and there are no color bleed as far as I have observed
5) LED backlit works perfectly, is lightweight (but not as thin as the other Samsung models)

Cons:
1) I was about to give this product 4 stars but for the price I got it I gave 5. The greatest cons for this product is no optical or phone jack (in case you need to connect it to external speakers) fortunately there is RCA audio and video out
2) Has only 2 HDMI (both works perfectly and is sufficient for my use as of today but in future may not be the case...)

Overall a great price for a great product

Gilda "gilgomez" (Palm Beach Gardens, Florida United States) :Got this beauty at my local Costco this week and it was a breeze to set up. Got it connected to our new Roku and a cheap indoor antenna we had in a closet. Amazing picture, even the over the air digital signal is great and the channels come in with the cheap old antenna in beautiful crisp HD!

Colors are rich, there are plenty of settings and choices to adjust the picture or viewing mode to your liking. The blacks are black, no light leaks either.

A note for those concerned about the sound on this TV: the sound is awesome. It is loud, full and clear......streaming Pandora and it is a joy!

This TV is terrific for a bedroom, guest room, den and smaller living room/ family room. It is a terrific size and with such a crisp picture you will enjoy it immensely.

I would give it a 5 star but with only two HDMI connections and no ability to self diagnosis or update via internet, a 4 star it is. But seriously, this is a terrific TV and we are really enjoying it!

Bruce Stewart (Wisconsin):Bought this TV believing it to be a full led backlit 39 inch screen at a good price. Accepted that the price/feature trade off included that it had just 2 hdmi inputs. The statements on the box are part of the deception: the box is very clever in what it DOESN'T say. The online spec sheet (at samsung.com) fails to provide actual specs on viewing angle, backlighting or speed.

The box says its an led tv. It doesn't say it is led backlit, and it doesn't say that its led edgelit. Maybe the box is referring to an led power-on light. The available claims for this product intentionally lead the consumer to make assumptions, and you can or will be wrong when you do so.

Samsung never tells you that it operates at 60Mhz, which several reviewers have noted. Rather, Samsung has invented its own, undefined, way of expressing speed, "Clear view," and calls this the UN39HEH5003 tv "Clear view 120." This results in a consumer assumption that it runs at 120 Mhz.

Samsung UN46B6000 46-Inch 1080p Discount

Jeff Brenman (Miami, FL):I purchased this TV and ended up returning it a week later. The physical TV is gorgeous, but unfortunately it has issues with the screen that I couldn't live with.

During normal viewing (in the store, in a lit room during the day), the picture quality is awesome - it has inky blacks and vibrant colors. The problem has to do with its "screen uniformity", something I didn't even know was a "feature" to consider when I was researching TVs.

This TV has an "edge-lit LED screen", which means the LED lights are along the edges of the screen shining inwards toward the center. Unfortunately, this makes for very uneven lighting across the screen. It's not noticeable during the day, but at night in a dark room watching a dark scene, there were a number of faint glowing streaks coming from the edges of the screen. It was very apparent in the letterboxing (the black bands over and below a widescreen image), in which there were feint cones of light coming from the corners of the screen.

I researched the issue (I searched for the TV's model number and the words "screen uniformity") and it turns out this is an issue all the LEDs have. The review sites offer the technical explanations for it.

I'm by no means a A/V snob, but the problem was almost instantly noticed by me and everyone I had look at the TV.

I returned the TV and instead purchased the Samsung LN46B650 Samsung LN46B650 46-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV with Red Touch of Color. It costs almost $600 less, has just as gorgeous of a picture (I don't notice the contrast ratio difference), and has none of the screen uniformity issues.

Paul Moskowitz (Yorktown, NY):My requirement for a television is quite simple: plug it in to the cable box and have it work the first time; then turn on the sports event of the day, e.g. Mets or Yankees, Jets or Giants, etc. The Samsung 46 inch LED TV does that very well. You plug it in, it works.

This TV does more with less. It weighs only about 40 pounds plus another 10 pounds for the stand. Compare that with the older Samsung 950 model of the same size which weighs 70 pounds. The elegant stand allows for easy rotation. The TV is only a little over one inch thick! Power consumption has been measured by reviewers at about 105 watts. The 950 model comes in at 180 watts.

The picture is great. The contrast ratio, rated at 3,000,000 to 1, exceeds that of older LCD TVs. The black areas are dark and the picture has an almost 3D quality. There are four preset picture options. I chose the "normal" setting. The next higher setting, "standard", makes infield grass look almost dayglow. I do not think that there is a need to have any further adjustment done on the picture. However, there is an automatic dimming of the overall brightness for dark scenes. For instance, when the credits of a movie run against a black background the lettering becomes dimmer. This has no effect on sports, but does effect dark movie scenes.

David Courtney "blixel" (Deltona, FL United States) :The main thing about this Samsung TV is that the picture is unbelievably rich and vibrant! (So much so that it takes a little getting use to.) The clarity is so good that it is actually distracting to me. (Though I'm sure I'll get use to it.) But as an example, I was re-watching Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl and I couldn't stop noticing the lines on the actors' faces, individual blades of grass, creases in fabric, and all sorts of other subtle details long enough to pay attention to the actual movie! OK - so maybe that is more of a general HDTV thing and has less to do with the Samsung TV? I don't know. Again - this is my first HDTV ever.

The Samsung TV is incredibly thin. This was one of the things that really drew my attention to this TV when I was doing my comparative shopping. Flat panel TV's are an order of magnitude thinner than their larger CRT cousins, but this Samsung TV takes the thinness to a whole new level.

Samsung LN46A650 46-Inch 1080p Discount

Winston (Kalamazoo, MI):I just got my TV last Friday and it is everything that I have expected. Unlike the first reviewer on this site, I have not experienced the overheating issues (fingers crossed). If you read his review he did admit the TV was great until that started happening. I just hope I don't get the same issue.

On to my review:
I spent over a year and a half researching flat panels. I came close to purchasing a Samsung 71F series, but when the salesman told me that new 2008 models were coming out in March, I decided to hold and do more research on those models. I almost purchased the 5 series, but when I found out that it does not have 120hz refresher rate, I decided to research the 6 series and ended buying the 46A650.

I briefly looked at the 7 series, but when I found out the only difference between the two was that the 7 series has a USB port for your MP3 player and 1 GB of cache, I figured it was not for me. I use a dock connected to my receiver when I play my MP3, so to me that was a useless function to fork over extra $$$ for. In addition, I have a PS3 so I don't really need the 1GB of cache to use the TV as a multimedia center. If you don't have a PS3 and plan to use your TV to view pictures and play music then the 7 series might be for you.

J. Sparks (California):Another issue is, that when you turn it on it takes about 3-4 seconds to pick up my digital cable signal from my DVR box. In addition when you switch between sources it takes around the same amount of time to pick up the signal. I'm impatient, which is a negative quality of mine. In our household, it seems like it is an issue only with me, since it does not bother my fiancee at all or any of our friends. Maybe it would not be a con if I was not so stupidly impatient.

Those are really the only two issues I have with the TV and to me they are very minor ones. I just pray I don't start getting the issues, the first reviewer experienced.

Overall:

I am very happy with my purchase. I am very satisfied and do not feel guilty or have any regrets about making this purchase. Up until now, I feel this TV is worth every penny I paid for it. I'll be updating my review as I learn more about this TV. I hope my review helped you, even if it was only a tad bit helpful, before making your investment on a flat panel television. Daniel Eskenazi (Chapel Hill, NC USA):I want to say first off that I also experienced the bug where the TV unexpectedly turns itself off, but after I installed the firmware upgrade that Samsung posted on 4/5 the problem has gone away.

I agree with the other reviewers that the picture is AMAZING. I am also happy to see that Samsung has added a 4th HDMI port. I was initially concerned that the "Touch Of Color" might clash with my decor, but it is very subtle especially if you mount the TV inside a cabinet. The "Infolink" feature is cute and easy to set up, but I don't see it as being extremely useful.

Now for some caveats. I purchased this TV right after setting up an LNT4661F for my inlaws, and I was quite surprised to realize that the A650 is missing several features from the 4661F, despite the A650 costing $650 more. For starters, the A650 does not have a rear S-video port (only one S-vide port on the side). This is probably not a big deal for most people, but if you are using a VCR or older cable box, etc. you will have a cable plugged into the side of the TV. Also there is only one composite port on the back of the TV, plus one more on the side. If you want to switch between three composite input surveillance cams, etc. you're out of luck. More of a concern to me was that the A650 has only 1 antenna input versus 2 on the 4661F. That means with the A650 you can't plug in both an antenna and a cable input. I guess Samsung figures everyone is using a set top box so they cut corners there.

Insane:this is an awesome TV to have at the kids room, the image quality is AWESOME (exactly what you would expect from a Samsung product)
I Highly recommend you get some HDMI cables (if youre looking to optimize the picture quality when using this product with an XBOX 360, or any other game console)

PS if you're looking to buy a Television of this dimension (26 inches) then get the 720p as there is no major difference between 720p and 1080p in this size.. now if youre looking to get a television from 35 inches or bigger now I would higly recommend you look at 1080 as the picture quality is highly noticeable..

GranJan "Bargain Hunter" :This is a great TV at a great price. Sharp clear picture, great sound with options for movie, standard, clear voice and music. Extreemly easy set up. It literally took minutes to attach stand, hook up cable and DVD player. Great picture right out of the box, tho you can tweek it to your preferences. I bought the 32" and am very glad that I did not move up to a larger size. In my 15x15 room this is plenty big without becoming a focal point and interfering with the decor.

ljoy nichols (Sebastopol, CA):This is a great TV. The image quality is exceptional (just what you'd expect from a Samsung product) I have come to trust Samsung products. They never disappoint. The size is fine for a small room and 720p is fine, no difference between the 1080p for this size TV.

This was purchased for a 650 sq. ft. condo and also had to fit into an old style 30" square opening in an oak bookcase/wall unit. Absolutely a breeze to set up. A few screws to put the stand together, connect the cable, plug it in and you're ready to go.

I had read that the sound quality was very poor but that didn't turn out to be true. Only drawback is there is no audio jack to attach external speakers but it really isn't a big problem. For the price this is a terrific TV.

Samsung PN59D550 59-Inch 1080p Discount

Gooner4Ever:I was in the market to upgrade from a 37" LCD and after much deliberation, soul searching, and navel gazing I decided that the PN51D550's size and features were too good to pass up. I'm not really a 3D kinda guy but I have two young kids so the inclusion of that particular bell and whistle was non-negotiable. Considering that Amazon had it for around $950.00 including shipping, well that was just too good to pass up. Log into the account, whip out the credit card, light a novena candle to ensure safe shipping and hope for the best (and it shipped just fine.)

So far I've had this machine for about a week and I must say I've been relieved and ecstatic at my decision. I'm about fifty hours into breaking in the thing (I know, I know, unnecessary perhaps but I'd much rather err on the side of caution) and it's been a love affair from the get go. Like most HDTV's, watching stuff in standard def isn't pretty but it's passable. The real beauty comes when watching stuff in HD, when everything just comes alive. Blacks are inky, reds are redder than Lenin, and the images are clean enough to eat off of. If you've ever wanted to count the lines on Gordon Ramsay's face you've come to the right TV.

ThisIsMyPenName (Port Charlotte, FL):1. I cannot stress enough the importance of a break in period so all those cute little plasmites can burn evenly. I was watching the special features on the TAXI DRIVER blu ray when I stupidly fell asleep during one of the Scorcese interviews (you know you're REALLY tired if you can fall asleep to him talking.) Of course after the interview ends, the disc goes back to the main menu which has bright yellow cursive graphics all over the place. Two hours later I woke up, ejected the disc, turned off the PS3, and found some faint burn in on the blank, black screen. After smacking my forehead in self punishment, I immediately turned on an HD movie channel and let THE RING run for about five minutes. When I turned the box off to check on the screen, voila!, burn in gone. A little preparation goes a long way.

2. SD content looks a bit better now, though it's obviously no match for blu rays or 720p, or those rare 1080p, broadcasts. Watching stuff on channels like Antenna TV or TV Land is a lot less messier than it was when the TV was right out of the box. If have streaming services like Netflix or Hulu+ the quality varies. Newer content, especially on Hulu+ looks and sounds outstanding, but older, grainier Netflix content looks appropriately disastrous. Well mastered DVDs played through a PS3 look terrific.

Shoe:After doing extensive research, my wife and I decided on this TV. For under $1k, it was one of the cheapest 3D plasma on the market from a reputtable company. It also has cheaper 3D glasses as well compare to others. While most 3D glasses costs around $150 per pair, it was only $50 per pair for this Samsung from Amazon or other retailers. We have watched regular 2D movies to 3D and everything is great! It even does a great job of converting regular 2D movies/shows into 3D. I could not have asked for a better TV at this price.

One feature that I really love about this TV is that it has an anti-burn program which prevents burn in. I did not know that this TV had this feature until after I bought it which is big plus since I sometimes play a little video game with the PS3. Another really nice feature is that it will automatically detect when you have a 3D signal and change the screen to the 3D setting. It will also send a signal to the glasses allowing them to be turned on. In fact the feature is so great that you will not even be able to turn on the glasses until a 3D signal is available. A very good feature with the 3D glasses for this TV is that it will automatically shut off after 30 seconds of not receiving a 3D signal so you do not run the battery down. The TV will also convert 3D to 2D if you get tired of 3D viewing.

Samsung LN32C350 32-Inch 720p Discount

 LCDTVBuyingGuide (Atlanta, GA) :Picture Quality Performance: With 480i images we noted some jerky motion artifacts in the background of some scenes. However, I did not see much offensive negatives in the foreground and was very pleased with the detail offered in 480i. The processors did a very nice job. Color rendition was not oversaturated, if not sometimes a little muted.

With our Blu Ray set to 720p resolution to match the TVs resolution we were very impressed at the bright sharp images and intense color offered. The TV really has a lot of pop with HD material. We also did not note the negative background judder with HD material and this proved out with our HD HQV processor testing as well. Black levels were deep and occasionally oversaturated but not often enough to really be a strike against. Dark shadow detail was totally acceptable for a TV of this size and price range.

Jason (Philadelphia):It's rare that i'm so pleased with a purchase so I just had to write a review. After a very... very extensive search and looking at a lot of TV me and my GF just got this TV, it was our first big purchase together after moving in together. Simply put this tv has amazing picture quality for the price we paid. Also alot of people are complaining about the amount of inputs this TV has... but it's an HDTV, samsung isn't expecting you to connect your stuff to it with composite cables... what a waste! I bought an HDMI cable for our cable box and one for our xbox360 and now we can hook up both and enjoying amazing HD quality picture.

The one weakness of this TV is the sound is so weak! But all the TVs we looked at in this size/price range had weak sound so i guess that's just the way it is now as most manufactures expect it to be used with a home theater system. honestly tho, compared to the other TVs this sound quality sounds really good... it's not at all loud, but at least it sounds good.

Don G. Connell "Blu-Ray Nut" (Lubbock, Texas):I upgraded my bedroom tv to this Samsung HDTV. The picture and quality of a Samsung HDTV is outstanding. I had another brand of HDTV in there first, but with the new HD Receiver I purchased, I couldn't get a picture on it. I moved it to another room and with the Samsung I had no problem at all. Teddy "ted88" (Philadelphia):Purchased through a store that starts with a T and ends with get in 8/12. For the most part it's a really cool television. Certainly several steps up from the 32' 720P Vizio which sits quietly and unused in a bedroom. There are some caveats, specifically having to purchase Samsung's whatever you call it wireless dongle. FYI, this set doesn't offer internet connectivity "fun stuff" aside from being able to update the software orrrr receive DLNA based "whatever." What it does offer is 3D at a reasonable price and a lighted remote. Still getting used to it but have watched beyond too many 3D titles to post. Will say this, at 720P, hadn't felt the loss of 1080P. Or maybe my eyes aren't good (!) In the beginning (as it were) the novelty of having a larger set that was 3D capable and had "real black" kept us clicking our heels buuuut the limited sound and picture options (there are 3, Dynamic, Standard and Movie) kind of jerked reality back into errr, reality. That isn't necessarily a bad thing, just have to either read the manual or search for better ways to calibrate - I'm too lazy... 2 HdMI connections were plenty for me, since purchasing 3D + internet capable 3D blu-ray player(s.) Typed errrs because started with Samsung's BD-E5900 which didn't offer enough online video content, moved to Vizio VBR337 which pretty much offered the same and settled for a Sony BDPS590. Here are a few 3D titles in no particular order that have been watched. Avatar, looked okay but for some reason doing a 2D to 3D with the original 2D BR version looked better. Not sure why...

 R. bell "dudeplayingtheotherdude" (Culver City, CA):Avengers 3D - blown away and is a personal favorite. Titanic 3D looks beyond the word "cool" watched it twice in a row just because it was that 3D cool. Abraham Lincoln vs Vampires? Also a really neat movie to watch on this particular set. As was with the 2 Journey to the Center of wherever and any IMAX 3D. Overall it was a good purchase (read cheap) and haven't thought about short changing from 1080P. Then again don't know because well, don't have 1080P! Now that I type(d) about it, there are many times when display will show that what's being viewed IS 1080P but whatever... Had TW cable for several weeks and HD channels were as spectacular as Terri Hatcher's and they're real Seinfeld episode but couldn't justify paying for cable services when there are many an online options thru the Sony BR player. If you can get past the idea of 720 over 1080 well then I say don't be scared+shhhh this set'll get you through not having to sink the purse or wallet and is 3D capable. Me? Haven't lost much sleep over 720 or 1080.

H. C. McIntyre :This is the first 3D TV I've bought and this set works very well in 3D or regular TV viewing. The picture is very sharp and clear and the small extra cost for the 3D feature makes this a great buy. The grand kids get a kick out of the 3D so I purchessed 3 more sets of glasses for them and we all watch 3D shows together

Travis Deputy "TheInsatiableBookReader":You know how it seems every year there's always this really great movie that flies under pretty much everyones radar and then finally gets lots of notice and recognition? Yeah, a sleeper hit. I suspect this beautiful plasma may fall in that catergory and for a couple of reasons. First, this Samsung is targeted towards the budget minded crowd. Even in this crappy economy people will still go out and pay boatloads of money for the latest tv technology, no matter the expense. Those good old credit cards and lines of credit. Nothing but trouble I tell ya! Secondly, most people who research a tv before buying one will read that you shouldn't buy a 720p television(this Samsung is) if it't 50 inches or bigger because the picture will not look that great. That may be true in the past, but not with this model. 720p looks stunning on this television from any viewing distance or angle. Lastly, when I stumbled across this plasma on ebay several weeks ago I knew zero about it. So I researched it and researched it and could find very little on it, including reviews. I don't know whether it's on there now, but Samsung didn't even have this awesome plasma listed on their website at the time. That is POOR marketing! So, yeah, possible sleeper hit.

TallyShaitan :Speaking of video games: they look visually gorgeous with zero framerate issues. Most recently I played Kingdoms of Amalur and Uncharted 3 and they look insanely beautiful with fantastic sound! I've used this plasma roughly 50 hours and so far have had no image retention issues(screen burn-in) and don't believe I will. This is my 4th plasma and I've played video games on all of 'em and had zero issues with burn-in. I believe this problem only rears it's ugly head when people don't use their ugly heads:) and go off and leave a movie or game paused for long periods of time. For crying out loud people! Turn the tv off if you're going to be away from it for an exteneded period of time.

The bottom line: Get in on this tv early, so you can say you were there at the beginning when it reaches "sleep hit" status. Seriously, kidding aside. Buy this sweet little Samsung plasma because you WILL NOT find a better tv for the price that can produce this kind of picture, sound, looks, and features. This is an unbelievable price for a 3D tv this size. Especially one that has a picture this amazing. Sure you can go out and spend another $1500 or $$2000 fir a higher end tv, but you'll only get something marginally better. Be smart. Save your money. Buy this tv. Now! Thank you. This Sammy is everything I could ask for in a tv and more. I give it an overall score of 4.75 out of 5 or a 9.5 out of 10. If you miss out on this Samsung you'll missing out on a lot. Samsung makes excellent televisions. Proof of that couldn't be anymore evident than here...

Wirerat (GA):This Plasma will not disappoint. The picture blows away any LCD LED for less money. Screen burn in is not an issue with the burn protection activeated. It even has a scrolling burn in removel screen that really works if you notice a faint line or image when you turn on the set just goto that menu and it wipes away the marks. I have a HTPC connected so when I have the pc on a long time I have noticed the start button on the screen but the removal takes care of it like magic. After I set the protection correctly it doesn't even get the marks from the start button anymore.
